UN say Gambian opposition activists died in detention
The United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon, has called for an investigation into the deaths of jailed opposition supporters following protests in The Gambia. There has been no reaction so far from the government. Opposition parties and pro-democracy groups are demanding political and electoral reforms in the West African nation. 麻豆社 Newsday's Alan Kasujja spoke to Sheriff Bojang, a Gambian journalist based in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.
