Ultra-violet light gadget could help battle malaria
Blood transfusions in sub-Saharan Africa can result in you catching malaria - from the donors blood. A new Lancet report says a new way of treating transfusion blood could minimise the risk of getting malaria through transfusions. Professor Jean-Pierre Allain is the report's lead author.
