'We're like a poor rich country, it's pretty hard'
The Venezuelan government has announced a two day working week for public sector workers as the country tries to handle a serious energy shortage. It introduced power cuts of four hours a day for 40 days in towns and cities across multiple states. The plunging price of oil has thrown Venezuela's economy into disarray, that has left people queuing for hours to buy scarce supplies in shops. Andrea is Venezuelan but has immigrated to Ireland and she told us what she has been hearing from family back home.
