Instead of focussing on international conflicts and crises closer to home, the United Nations would like the world's media to also incorporate 'Constructive Journalism', offering solutions and positive alternatives to the current menu of relentless doom and gloom.

Newsday's Bola Mosuro spoke to Tina Rosenberg, the co-founder of Solutions Journalism, about her approach to news.
