麻豆社

Filmed on the set of the 麻豆社鈥檚 River City, the 10 minute opera film 弄hte, composed by student Henry McPherson and directed by RCS lecturer Ray Tallan, tells the story of 3 magicians and the silence where magic was once found. The opera was first screened at the opening concert of Plug Festival on 3 May 2016.

With an orchestral score performed by the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the inspirational Martyn Brabbins, the opera is a truly interdisciplinary collaboration, featuring students of the RCS Opera School, with prosthetics, props and wardrobe created by RCS Production students and realised by RCS Screen students.

Contains some violent scenes and some scenes which some viewers might find upsetting.
