Valkyrie is Nasa's 6ft tall most human-like robot. She is designed to work in disaster zones and even go to space. She can walk on two legs but she now needs to work on her handling and manoeuvrability.
Valkyrie's just arrived at her new home at the University of Edinburgh where a team of scientists now hopes to teach her how to interact with humans. Our science reporter Victoria Gill has seen the robot in action.
