Smog Free Tower
A Dutch design studio has developed and tested what they bill as the world's biggest outside air purifier. A prototype tested in Rotterdam acts as a giant vacuum cleaner sucking up air and removing the toxic particles. Next stop Beijing. Newsday's Tom Hagler spoke to the Dutch designer, Daan Roosegaarde.
