With the Obama presidency now entering its final months, Jamie Coomarasamy returned to Charlotte, often called 'the Wall Street of the South' to hear reflections on his term in office.
In 2009 James met a cross section of voters and heard their expectations of an Obama presidency. Seven years on, some are disillusioned.
Jermaine Johnson, owner of the No Grease barbershop in Charlotte, says although he previously voted for Obama, he didn't feel the President's policies had improved his life, or that of his community.
He's now considering voting for Donald Trump - mainly so he can help him with his comb over.
