麻豆社's Director General hits back at impartiality claim
Lord Hall, the director general of the 麻豆社 rejects the claim that its journalism is not impartial.
Ex 麻豆社 Trust Chairman Sir Michael Lyons, claimed that in the run up to the charter renewal, the 麻豆社
' had bowed to political pressure with attacks on the leader of the Labour Party' .
Speaking to The World at One's Martha Kearney, Lord Hall said the 麻豆社 was often "quoted in surveys as being the UK's the most trusted source for news" and its journalists "test all sides of an argument".
Lord Hall also defended the distinctiveness of 麻豆社 content against criticisms that Bargain Hunt was in its 43rd season.
