Celebrity injunction upheld
The Supreme Court has said the identity of a celebrity who is accused of an extra-marital relationship should not be revealed in England and Wales.
The Sun on Sunday newspaper had challenged an injunction preventing him from being named, although he has been identified in Scotland, the US, Canada and on the internet.
But it has been decided that there is no public interest in his identity being made known.
Jonathan Coad, a media lawyer, tells Shaun Ley how the celebrity's privacy could be breached.
