World's largest refugee camp will close in November
Dadaab, the world's largest refugee camp will close in November according to Kenya's Interior Minister, Joseph Nkaisserry. He told the media that his government would work closely with the United Nations and the Somali government to repatriate more than 300,000 refugees. Dadaab was set up in 1991 to house families fleeing conflict in Somalia. Newsday's Alan Kasujja spoke to Mwenda Njoka, a spokesperson for the Kenyan government.
