Turning climate change data into music
For many people the concept of climate change can be difficult to comprehend. So Stephan Crawford, a San Francisco-based artist decided to bring together a group of musicians and scientists to try and turn thousands of years of climate data into a piece of music. The Climate Music Project is now completed and composer Erik Walker and scientist William Collins explain how you turn climate variables like carbon dioxide and temperature levels into notes and tempo.
