What conditions did Yamato face in the Japanese woods?
Six days after being abandoned by his parents on a mountainous roadside in northern Japan, seven-year-old Yamato Tanooka has been found alive.
Ross Findlay is founder of Niseko Adventure Centre and very familiar with the forests of northern Hokkaido. He explains how difficult it would be to stay alive for so long.
