Developing human organs in pigs
Scientists in the United States are trying to grow human organs inside pigs, through the technique known as "gene editing". The idea is to harvest these organs for human transplants. But critics have voiced concerns over the implications of the part-human, part-animal embryos. Science journalist, Tuan Nguyen, has been telling Newsday, what the experiment is all about.
