After sampling several sites around the Â鶹Éç for the Swab & Send project’s hunt for a new antibiotic, Adam Rutherford heads to Dr Adam Roberts’ lab at University College London to hear the results. The samples have been cultured, and bacterial colonies taken from a Dalek who stands guard in Broadcasting House reception seem to be producing an interesting compound.
