The loneliest dog in Britain may finally find a home
She's been called the loneliest dog in Britain. Freya has been housed at Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre in Liverpool for six years. No one it seems wants to adopt the epileptic Staffordshire bull terrier. But now the American filmmaker, Michael Bay, famous for directing big budget action films like Pearl Harbor and Armageddon, says he wants to give Freya a role in his next Transformer film. And he says, if no-one wants her after that, he might adopt her himself. So with so much media attention, it seems that Freya may finally be on her way to getting housed. Neil Davis works at the centre.
