Cambodia's vast medieval cities revealed

Australian archaelogist Dr Damian Evans explains how they've used airborne laser technology to reveal the cities which had been until now obscured by forest, and which were home to tens of thousands of people.

While the research has been going on for several years, the new findings uncover the sheer scale of the Khmer Empire"s urban sprawl and temple complexes to be significantly bigger than was previously thought.)
