Eritrea accuses Ethiopia of launching military attack
The Eritrean government has accused neighbouring Ethiopia of launching an attack against it. The two neighbours fought a two and a half year war that led to the deaths of thousands of people, and a peace agreement over the border dispute has never been fully implemented.
