A couple from West Wiltshire have told 麻豆社 Wiltshire their own greed took over when scammers cheated them out of more than 拢100,000.

The pair in their 70's transferred thousands to foreign bank accounts, after an American company promised to buy shares from them which would have mounted to a 拢500,000 jackpot.

They say it's a terrible secret they hold and haven't even told their family.

18 months on they are still being plagued with bogus calls from conmen and believe their details have been passed on.
