Former England winger Chris Waddle and journalist Guillem Balague disagree over where Cristiano Ronaldo should play for Portugal.

The 31-year-old did not score in his side's 1-1 Euro 2016 draw with minnows Iceland.

"To get the best out of Ronaldo you need to play a number nine... when he plays like he does tonight, with his back to goal, he's not as effective," said Waddle.

However Balague said: "I wonder if people think if he's still the winger that dribbles, and makes magic.
