Lord Michael Jay is a former head of the British diplomatic service, a former ambassador to France and has been involved in many international negotiations. He says he can't see how talks on Britain's exit from the EU can be completed in the two years set out by the terms of the Lisbon Treaty. And he thinks there will soon be negotiations about how the length of the negotiations can be re-negotiated!
