Penguins under threat in the Antarctic region
More than a million penguins are facing extinction, after a volcano has erupted on the British Island of Zavodovski in the southern Atlantic Ocean. The volcano has showered the birds and their habitat with ash. Dr Peter Fretwell has been telling 麻豆社 Newsday why conservationists are worried about the fate of the Antarctic penguins.
