At least five police officers have been shot dead at a rally in the US city of Dallas, which was being held to protest against the shooting of black men by police. It is believed that the attack was carried out by at least two snipers. Veteran American civil rights leader, Jesse Jackson, has been reacting to the increasing violence in the US.
