'My dad arranged life saving surgery for a Ghanaian boy'
Three-year-old Ethan from Ghana has had life-saving medical treatment, thanks to British teacher Laura Williams.
Ethan was born with the rare condition Exomphalos, which caused his organs to grow outside of his abdomen. There is no treatment available in Ghana.
Ms Williams heard about Ethan鈥檚 plight when volunteering at a Ghanaian radio station. She decided to enlist her dad, who is a doctor, to raise funds to bring Ethan and his father Charles to the UK.
鈥淚t's early days,鈥 she said. 鈥淗e's only just had his operation today but it's looking optimistic鈥.
