A UK drama called Cuttin' It is highlighting the growth of female genital mutilation among UK communities. The story is about a teenage girl, Muna who is on a quest to save her younger sister from the practice. The author Charlene James tells us what the story is about and you will hear excerpts (read by Adelayo Adedayo and Tsion Habte) from the play. We have to warn you, some of the details are quite graphic.
