Are NHS budget figures misleading?
Conservative Health Select Committee chair Sarah Wollaston on 'misleading' NHS figures.
The government's claim that it is on target to spend 拢8 billion more every year on the NHS is "misleading" according to the Health Select Committee.
They say ministers may be increasing the amount that is spent on the front line of the NHS in England but they are also cutting other health spending.
Sarah Wollaston, Conservative chair of the Health Select Committee, spoke to Nick Robinson.
