Syrian rebel fighters have launched a major assault on government forces laying siege to the Syrian city of Aleppo.

Pawel Kyzysiek from the International Committee of the Red Cross describes the state of crisis in the city and David Miliband, CEO of International Rescue Committee, gives his analysis of the brutal conflict.
