Football club's tweeter takes over in goal
Jarrow Roofing FC had to stop their Twitter updates during the match against Hartlepool FC in the Wearside League, because the man writing them had to go play in goal.
Andy Hudson, who is the club's vice-chairman and social media manager, replaced club keeper, Andy Jennison with 35 minutes of the game left to play.
His club were 1-0 up against Hartlepool FC, but Mr Hudson unfortunately conceded a goal, and the match ended 1-1. He said his appearance "wasn't a dream-come-true" but he "didn't have time to think about it" as he stripped into a goalkeeper kit due to a "depleted squad".
The tweet announcing his appearance went viral, and currently has almost 5,000 retweets.
