'I just hope that the world takes part'
As the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games continues to struggle with financing and ticket sales, one of Team USA's brightest medal hopes is crowdfunding in order to buy tickets and give them free to Brazilians. Tatanya McFadden, a Russian-born American wheelchair athlete, has reportedly pledged $1000 out of her own pocket to help raise money for the campaign.
