First ever auction of a dodo skeleton

A dodo skeleton has not come up for sale in nearly 100 years.

The first ever dodo skeleton to be sold at auction - and the first to come up for sale in nearly 100 years - will be announced today.

Director of Summers Place Auctions Rupert van der Werff explains to presenter John Humphrys the significance of the composite, produced from a number of different specimens.
