A triathlete hit by a deer mid-race says he was "very lucky" to escape serious injury.

Shane O'Reilly from Dublin managed to carry on after being struck by a jumping deer while cycling.

Mr O'Reilly says "it could have been a lot worse". He says after the incident he "just got back on his bike and kept on going".
