The Third Programme 29 September 1946
The Third Programme was launched on 29 September 1946 as part of the post war re-organisation of 麻豆社 radio. The Third Programme offered classical music, serious drama, literature and discussion. Introducing it in the Radio Times, 麻豆社 Director General Sir William Haley said 鈥淚ts whole content will be directed to an audience that is not of one class but that is perceptive and intelligent.鈥
