A student from Liverpool University shows his method to give everyone a mathematically equal slice of pizza. Stephen Worsley from Liverpool University came up with the idea with a colleague while at maths club, and demonstrated it to 5 live Drive.

Stephen said: 鈥漎ou have to follow the curvature of the pizza, and cut into six shield shapes.鈥�

An interest in recreational maths sparked the idea to put his knowledge to practical use and solve pizza based arguments.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a special method, where you can get some pieces with crust and some without,鈥� added the maths whizz.
