The Great Fire of London started 350 years ago when a baker's oven caught fire. It quickly spread through the wooden buildings of the city destroying four-fifths of Medieval London. It took four days to put out the fire that made over 60 000 people homeless. Dr Matthew Green is an author of a history of London called London, a Travel Guide Through Time.
