Lonely autistic boy receives 20,000 birthday cards
An autistic boy, Ollie Jones, has received over 20,000 birthday cards from strangers all over the world, after his mother posted a public appeal for help on a community Facebook page.
Karen Jones, 49, from Exmouth was inspired to make the request after Ollie told her he had made his own birthday cards for his 15th birthday because he didn't receive many from friends.
Karen told the 5 live Hit List that the experience was "lifechanging".
She said: "Every single card is a piece of love. Seriously, it's lifechanging. What we have received is just fantastic."
