Helping Syrian children understand the war
Nadine Kaadan is a young Syrian author who has been writing and illustrating since the age of eight. Now more than 20 years later and with over a dozen children's books in Arabic to her name, the Syrian author has just had her first story in the English language book published, 'The Jasmine Sneeze', set in war-torn Syria. Nadine Kaadan hopes her stories will help Syrian children make sense of the war. Here she reads from an English translation of her book, 'Tomorrow', written and published in Arabic.
