Aleppo's night sky 'the only beautiful thing'
Aleppo's night sky is the "only beautiful thing left" in a city blighted by war, according to teacher Abdul Kafi.
He says the lack of electrical lighting in the city has created an unexpected side-effect, a spectacularly vivid view of the stars.
In a recording for The World at One, he shares his thoughts as he looks at the sight above him. He says war planes have destroyed everything else.
