Another chance to hear band leader and trumpeter Kenny Ball chat candidly to Clare Teal about his life and career which had seen him perform his own brand of traditional and Dixie jazz for over 50 years. With contributions from Brian Matthew, who helped launch Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen on Easybeat; and Kenny's long-term musical partner and trombonist John Bennett. Not forgetting, archive from the legendary Morecambe and Wise show and classic tracks plucked from his extensive back catalogue such as Samantha and Midnight in Moscow. This documentary first broadcast on Radio 2 in June 2012.
