Artificially intelligent assistants such as Apples’ Siri and Amazon’s Alexa are not only helping with our day to day lives, but there is now talk that they need a sense of humour.

Google is on the hunt for comedy writers to give its artificially intelligent virtual assistant, more personality and more banter.
