Howard Webb reveals the hardest player to referee
Former Premier League referee Howard Webb tells us about the player he had most difficulty with throughout his high-profile officiating career.
Webb, 55, admitted this particular player was psychologically 鈥渢ough鈥 to deal with. He said: "I've got nothing against this player - I don't know him off the pitch 鈥 but, on it, he'd sledge you during the game."
Webb now works as a television pundit and admitted he admired how the former Premier League player managed to tread the line so frequently, adding: "He would do it in a way that was not worthy of a yellow card; all he was doing was looking for a chink in somebody's armour."
