Ex-minister: Nissan deal could open can of worms
The former business minister Anna Soubry says she would "be very surprised if there hasn't been some sort of guarantee" for Nissan to mitigate against any tarifs which might be imposed after the UK leaves the EU.
Ms Soubry, who was a prominent Remain campaigner, told The World At One this would open "a very difficult can of worms".
The government and Nissan have insisted there is no "special deal" for the company.
