Is a politician out of touch for getting a pastry price wrong?
French presidential hopeful Jean-Francois Cop茅 has been mocked for hugely underestimating the price of a pain au chocolat. Speaking to French radio, he said the pastry costs between 10 and 15 euro cents, whereas the actual cost is over one euro. Sophie Pedder, the Economist magazine's bureau chief in Paris, speaks to the 麻豆社's Roger Hearing on whether this means Mr Cop茅 is out of touch with the public.
