Has Jeremy the 'lefty' snail found love?
A public appeal to find a second rare left-coiled snail succeeds.
It was supposed to be a one in a million shot. Dr Angus Davison appealed to our listeners to help find Jeremy, a rare left-coiled garden snail, a mate.
Dr Davison, Nottingham University's resident snail expert, returned with Jade Melton, a snail enthusiast, to tell the Today programme the good news - they have found Jeremy a mate.
