The identity politics behind Trump's victory
"White supremacism" and misogyny have come together with economic malaise to produce Donald Trump's victory, according to commentator Paul Mason.
He said the identity politics evident in the United States could resurface in the Austrian presidential election and the Italian constitutional referendum in December in further battles between the elite and the insurgent right.
