Cult of the Cavendish
Up to 17 million tonnes of bananas are traded around the world every year, and the one consumers are most familiar with is called the Cavendish. But reliance on this variety has producers excluding other bananas. The 麻豆社's Dan Saladino explores why growers in Uganda are fighting for the others.
