Pollster Professor John Curtice says that a majority of people who voted to leave the EU want to be in or trade with the Single Market.

His research suggests that 90% of those voters want to continue to trade freely with the European Union. However when it comes to freedom of movement - a key demand of membership of the Single Market - the majority of voters want limits imposed. That includes a majority of those who voted Remain.
