Proposed Urgent Care Centre for Devizes
Plans go on display for the first time today at the Devizes Corn Exchange for a new Urgent Care Centre in the town. The public can have their say with NHS Bosses between 3pm and 7pm. It's part of a plan to reduce pressure on GP's, reduce the amount of people having to travel to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, and make the local NHS better able to cope with it's increasing demands and tightening budgets. The new centre would be built on Marshall Road, in addition to the treatment centre for x-rays and alike already on the same road which would remain in place.
