Sotheby's is auctioning what they claim to be an original Beethoven manuscript of Allegretto in B Minor.

But Beethoven expert Barry Cooper, of Manchester University, claims that the manuscript being sold is not an original, but a copyist鈥檚 transcription.

Simon Maguire, head of Musical Manuscripts at Sotheby's, strongly disputes Cooper's claim.
