In this Iraqi refugee camp, south-Mosul, over a thousand families are adjusting to life as refugees in their own country.

Many of them are haunted by what happened when so-called Islamic State militants invaded their towns and villages.

One man, Raqqi, said people in the camp felt like they were 鈥渦nder house arrest鈥�.

鈥淎 lot of the people have lost everything. They don鈥檛 want anything 鈥� just to be alive.鈥� he said.
