The mystery of the medieval doodle
From generation to generation our culture is handed down via books. A lecturer at the University of Glasgow has been using one particular book and looking not at the messages of the text but of the margins, the doodles or marginalia.
Johanna Green, lecturer in book history and digital humanities at the University of Glasgow's College of Arts, wants our help in figuring out what those doodles are... dogs, goats or dragons with wings?
